Transient Heat Transfer analysis and non-linear static stress of a light, using a 2D model. The heat transfer analysis results were used as inputs for the stress analysis. Temperature dependent material properties were used for the stress analysis, to ensure the results at elevated temperatures were correct. Despite the stresses being below the maximum allowable stress value, recommendations were given to run the model with different loading conditions which hadn’t been considered.
