Linear static stress analysis and a modal analysis of a buoy. The stress analysis consisted of 4 different load cases, with different applications of different acceleration loads. The modal analysis indicated which components of the design influenced the natural frequencies of the assembly the most. The stress analysis highlighted potential areas of concern in the model which required modification.
