Linear static stress analysis of a subsea umbilical termination assembly (UTA) fabrication. 5 different load cases were analysed, with the loads in each case being provided by the customer. The loads were combinations of lifting loads from different points on the model and lateral loads. A plate element model was used to represent the geometry. Although no acceptance criteria was defined for the analyses, the minimum factor of safety was reported, and was above 1.5 in all load cases.
