Steady state heat transfer analysis and Linear static stress analysis of a heat exchanger. 5 Load cases were considered for all designs analysed, with varying loads being applied in each case, including thermal expansion and environmental loads such as wind. These loads were provided by the customer. Several design iterations were analysed for the heat exchanger. Stress linearisations were reported at a joint between a nozzle and header in the model, and compared against allowables in the relevant ASME Standard.
