MSL were designing a new product that utilised Investment cast stainless steel alloy as the load bearing medium. Since this would involve costly tooling, we contacted FEA-Solutions to carry out stress analysis as a precursor to the tooling design. The analysis was carried out on our original concept design and results were provided quickly and well presented in an understandable format. The follow up telephone explanation of the results was excellent. In addition, FEA proactively suggested design changes to improve the product performance, which also help aesthetically with the general presentation of the product. FEA costs were reasonable and cost effective and we will, when the opportunity arises, use them again. M. C., Director
